Summer Weddings

The summer wedding season kicked off for me yesterday with a lovely sparkly wedding at the Westin Hotel. Looking forward to weddings coming up at Peggy's Cove, Liscomb Lodge, and The Old Orchard Inn!

Lot Six Wedding

This afternoon, I played a cozy candlelit wedding at Lot Six on Argyle St. in Halifax. It was a neat space with a huge sky-light and lots of plants and old-timey lightbulbs.

Cello Weddings!

Played weddings with two fantastic cellists this weekend - one at Stadacona chapel with Catherine Little (cellogirl.ca), and the other on the very bright and windy shores of Chocolate Lake with India Gailey. The Stadacona wedding featured an impressive Mountie Honour Guard, which I had never seen before, and Catherine and I really enjoyed playing The Swan together during the signing of the register. At Chocolate Lake, India and I managed to navigate the wind thanks to a big pile of rocks (pictured).
